what am i up to?

I was recently named a Semifinalist in the the 2025 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards for my psychological life review, Retro and a Second Rounder at the 2025 Austin Film Festival for my surrealist puppet dramedy, Season Four.

I’m currently working on producing an educational YouTube series and cabaret act as scripts sit in festival limbo.

  • My psychological thriller short, Retro, is currently a Semifinalist at the 2025 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards. It is currently in consideration at the 2025 Austin Film Festival.

    It was also a:

    • Second Rounder at the 2024 Austin Film Festival

    • Semifinalist at the Outstanding Screenplays Shorts Competition Spring 2025

    • Quarterfinalist at the Atlanta Film Festival 2025

    • Quarterfinalist at the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards 2025

    Retro closed Coverfly in the top 3% of thrillers, and was on the Red List in January-February and June 2025.

  • My surrealist dramedy pilot, Season Four, was recently praised by a Black List reader for its “one-of-a-kind premise” and “brilliantly [combining] surrealism with grounded family dynamics to create a unique, sympathetic story about midlife transitions.”

    Described as fast-paced and quippy, Stevie’s journey “distinguishes itself from other comedies […] with its fresh exploration of mental health and life crises.”

    It was recently named a:

    • Second Rounder at the 2025 Austin Film Festival

    • Semifinalist at the 2025 Imagine This Women's International Film Festival

    • Semifinalist at the 5th Annual Stage 32 TV Comedy Screenwriting Contest
